I'll admit the first time I ever opened SimPE to change something I was shaking in my boots with the fear that I was going to absolutely screw up whatever it was I was going to do and totally break my game! LOL! Thanks anyway edinfresno for your tutorial if I may not find a hack for this I might as well learn SimPe I heard about a hack and would prefer a hack. Anyway for SimPe I am not knowledgeable about this program. Yes I know about changelotzoning but I'm avoiding it for freeze issues due to my graphics card. The item you edited will now show up in both Community and Residential Lots with just one simple number change! Click the Commit Button and Save and you're done! You can now change the number on the right to whatever it is now to 128. Double Click on the Community Sort item to highlight it. You'll see a catalogue number on the right. Simply find the package you want to change and open it in SimPE.ġ: When the package opens click on the Object Data folder to open it.Ģ: Click on the Package Name just to the right of that.ģ: Click Plug In view so you can see the Object Date package contents.Ĥ: Now scroll down and find Catalogue Sort and click the Raw Data tab.ĥ: Next, click the "Decimal" radio button over on the right.Ħ: look at Catalogue Sorting/Community Sort.

So, now, if you're willing here's what you do: If you don't have SimPE you can get it here: If you have SimPE and aren't nervous about using it's a single step and easy to do.

It just involves using SimPE to change one number and knowing where to find it. Actually, changing residential items into both community and residential lot usable items isn't difficult at all.
